Hi, we’re Griffin and Audrey—the duo behind GS Travel Photo.

Photographer, traveler, storyteller (him). Trail navigator, pack whisperer, and sanity checker (her). Together, we’ve walked, wandered, and photographed our way through some of the most unforgettable places in the world—one step (and wrong turn) at a time.

Home is Park City, Utah, but most days we’re buried in photo edits, blog drafts, or the eternal puzzle of packing light and still bringing the camera gear. We created GS Travel Photo to bring together what we care about most: real journeys, good light, and stories that don’t feel like ads.

Let’s be honest—travel content is everywhere. But most of it feels like it was written by someone who never left the hotel. GS Travel Photo is different. Every photo, tip, and story comes from places we’ve actually walked through—sometimes with blisters, usually with a camera, and always with curiosity.

This isn’t about chasing algorithms. It’s about showing you how to take better photos with what you already have, helping you find places worth visiting, and telling the stories behind the moments that made it all matter.

Whether you’re traveling with a phone or a full camera setup, you’ll find:

If that sounds like your kind of travel, welcome. Let’s hit the road.

A Bit More About Us

This whole adventure started with a camera, a couple of backpacks, and a shared belief that the best travel moments don’t come with an itinerary. What began as a loose plan quickly turned into a life-shaping experience.

I’m Griffin, the guy behind the camera. I’ve always seen photography as a way to slow down and really see things—not just landmarks, but light, texture, feeling. Audrey is my partner in life and travel. She’s the navigator, the video director, the one who keeps us on track when I get distracted by some crumbling doorway or dramatic cloud. She’s got a sixth sense for finding incredible food and usually helps shape the story from behind the lens—but she occasionally ends up in front of the camera, too.

In 2025, we spent 50 days exploring Italy. We walked the ancient Via Francigena trail from the northern plains of Emilia-Romagna all the way to the hilltowns of Tuscany and beyond. Then we continued on through Rome and down to the far southern corners of Sicily. The trip wasn’t always comfortable and it definitely wasn’t perfect, but it reminded us of why we travel in the first place. Slowing down, tuning in, and experiencing places as they really are—not filtered, not staged, just real.

That journey shaped what GS Travel Photo has become. It is a mix of stories, images, and honest travel advice from people who have actually been there. We are not influencers. We don’t pretend to have all the answers. We are just two people who love discovering new places, learning as we go, and sharing the kind of details we wish we had known ahead of time.

If you are into thoughtful travel, good light, honest stories, and the occasional wrong turn, you are in the right place.

Let’s Connect

We share travel photography, behind-the-scenes stories, and updates on new books, blog posts, and photo tips—only the stuff we’d want to read ourselves. No noise, no social promos. Just good photos and real places.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to walk across Tuscany with a camera, the full story’s in the book — Walking Through Tuscany, now available.
